Skender is currently seeking a Superintendent to join our talented group of employees in Indianapolis.


A Superintendent at Skender is responsible for managing the onsite activities of a project, including the assurance of timely and safe completion, adherence with the contract documents, and observance of project budgets. An individual in this role must also develop and maintain a professional working relationship with the owner, architect, and other related project participants.

  • Schedule management and production fundamentals
  • Assure all safety is compliant with company safety plan
  • Implement quality assurance to industry standards
  • Cultivate relationships with our clients, trade partners, and architects
  • Empower and motivate others on assigned projects


  • 5 or more years of experience in a supervisory capacity in the construction or engineering field
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction, including technology, equipment, methods, scheduling, safety, and quality
  • Experience working on healthcare projects highly preferred


  • Must have reliable transportation to get you to your designated work site, which can be anywhere in the Indianapolis area. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is recommended for the nature of this position.
