An 85,000-SF build-out for an advertising firm in the historic Old Post Office. This project included many historic objectives as well as reconstruction of existing stairs, ceilings, and other existing conditions. Located on the entire sixth floor of the north building and a portion of the fifth floor of the south building, the space features private offices, open-office workstations, open-collaboration areas, conferencing, two café / social hubs, photography and editing rooms, storage and intermediate distribution frame (IDF) rooms. Lakefront Residences of Grayslake
75,000-square-foot affordable independent senior living facility includes 70 residential units. The project also features deep-well geothermal heating with twenty-two 400-foot vertical wells, heat exchanging system, and complete hydronic system appurtenances. The site features a three-acre detention pond, 50-car client parking area, and native planting landscaping development. (November 2011 – October 2012)
