Skender Wins Interior Contractor of the Year

Last Thursday, May 14, Skender was named the 2026 Interior Contractor of the Year at the 38th Annual Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards.

The awards are considered the top honors in the Chicago commercial real estate industry and the dinner event is the largest annual fundraiser for the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The recognition highlights Skender’s excellence in construction project management, quality and safety. Among the Skender projects highlighting the firm’s high-quality construction work was the seven-floor headquarters build-out for Invenergy.

Skender has a strong history of recognition at the Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards, having previously won Interior Contractor of the Year in 2024, 2022, 2018, 2016, and 2015.
