NM Marianjoy CT Suite

A state-of-the-art CT suite buildout at Northwestern Medicine Marianjoy Hospital.

The project transformed an existing X-ray room into a modern CT imaging space with upgraded infrastructure and protective shielding.

The new CT suite includes a control room, bathroom, waiting room and changing room, along with a new HVAC system and MEPFP upgrades. Lead lining was installed throughout the CT room’s walls and ceilings to meet NCRP protective barrier standards for medical X-ray imaging facilities. Limited ceiling space required careful coordination, design modifications and line rerouting to accommodate the new systems within the existing conditions.
