Skender is currently seeking a Project Foreman to join our talented group of employees.


Responsibilities

A Project Foreman at Skender is responsible for managing the onsite activities of a project to ensure timely and safe completion, adherence with the contract documents, and adherence with project budgets. 

  • Schedule management and production fundamentals
  • Supervises onsite activities of a project
  • Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines
  • Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout
  • Perform regular jobsite inspections and conduct weekly jobsite safety meetings to ensure compliance with company safety program


Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in a carpentry foreman capacity in the construction field
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction, including technology, equipment, methods, scheduling, safety, and quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, supervisory, planning, and motivational skills
  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards related to and including safety practices of carpentry work
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time
  • Basic computer skills required
