Skender Construction Forms New Business Group, Hires New Executive to Lead

Skender Construction, a leading general contractor based in Palos Hills and downtown Chicago, has formed Skender Facilities Group LLC, a new division that will manage the construction of educational, religious, cultural, recreational, municipal and community-centered facilities throughout the Chicago area.

Damian Eallonardo, executive vice president, brings over 20 years experience in executive-level construction management to the company. Formerly Executive Vice President of Construction at an ENR-400 ranked national general contractor, Eallonardo has focused his efforts on projects in this market sector and continues to deliver value-added services to the clients he serves. He will manage operations, business development, project staffing, safety programs and all other facets of the new business unit at Skender.

Skender Construction’s formation of Skender Interiors Group LLC in 2005 was met with immediate success. In two years, the division has gained notable clients including NAVTEQ, UBS and Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP, and has been recognized as one of the largest commercial interiors contractors in the Midwest.
