Skender Construction Announces Office Expansion

Skender Construction is expanding its presence in Chicago by combining our existing offices that are currently located at 205 West Wacker and Palos Hills in the southwest suburbs. The new office will occupy 17,000 square feet at 200 West Madison. The expanded space will house its corporate headquarters and all business units in one location. The anticipated move is scheduled for late July of this year. 

“Over the last several years, we have seen a dramatic increase in our business opportunities in the city of Chicago across all segments of our business.  Due to the growth and diversification of our construction business, we will enhance the synergy of our staff while streamlining our corporate services with the ultimate goal of providing our clients efficient resources and ease of accessibility.  We are looking forward to having all employees consolidated at one corporate location in a new optimized work environment,” said President Joseph Skender. 

The dynamics of being located in Chicago has proven to be an asset of further expanding business opportunities while maintaining and cultivating new relationships with clients, architects and engineers. Skender Construction has operated their Mixed Use Residential and Corporate division from the southwest suburbs for over fifty years.  In 2005, the company diversified by adding an Interiors Group which included the opening of a second office in Chicago.  Late 2007, the Facilities Group was added as the third division of Skender Construction.
