Skender Announces New LEED-Certified Individuals

Skender Construction, a leading general contractor with offices in Palos Hills and Chicago, Illinois announced today that three additional staff members have obtained LEED professional accreditation by the U.S. Green Building Council. The LEED rating system is a nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.

Senior Project Manager Afshan Barshan and Project Managers Ed Salgado and Joe Pecoraro earned LEED professional accreditation this month.

Skender is currently budgeting and constructing several buildings and spaces seeking LEED-certification throughout Chicago.
