NAVTEQ Traffic Operations Center

Traffic.com, NAVTEQ’s traffic operations center, is the most high-tech traffic tracking system in Chicago. Combining the latest scanning technology with fiber optic amplifiers and high-definition monitors, the center provides accurate traffic flow information that eases driving time and gives commuters an opportunity to utilize more efficient routes.

Skender constructed the 3,000 square foot space on a 10 week schedule. The center’s traffic information is broadcast daily on NBC’s Today Show and is featured on traffic.com.
